Will self-driving cars cause more harm or good?
2017 saw the emergence of driverless cars and trucks being tested on roads in the US and UK. Developers say more than a million lives a year could be saved without humans behind the wheel, as accidents would be almost eradicated. But that could also mean a loss of millions of jobs. Unions representing drivers are calling on politicians to explain where new jobs would come from.
