Rising seas; shrinking Cuban future, scientists say
The impact of climate change is being felt all over the world - especially on low-lying islands. A report prepared by the Cuban ministry of science, technology and environment warns that by 2050 coastal levels will have risen 27 cm, and by the end of this century it will be up by 85cm, causing the island to shrink significantly.
