Qatari 🇶🇦 royal 'held against his will in the UAE'
Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Thani released a video statement saying that if anything were to happen to him, Qatar is not at fault. He's been living in Saudi Arabia since the blockade by some of Qatar's neighbours began last June. The UAE denies the allegations - and says he's free to leave whenever he chooses. Qatar's foreign ministry says it's monitoring the situation - and will stand up for all its citizens. Saudi Arabia and the UAE had earlier presented him as a potential alternative to Qatar's Emir. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt all cut ties with Qatar, accusing its government of supporting “terrorism”, a charge that Doha denies. - Subscribe to our channel: http://ift.tt/291RaQr - Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/AJEnglish - Find us on Facebook: http://ift.tt/1iHo6G4 - Check our website: http://ift.tt/snsTgS
