Turkey on high alert ahead of New Year attack anniversary
There has been increased security in major cities across the world, ahead of New Year's Eve celebrations. Parties in some public squares have been canceled in the Turkish city of Istanbul. Last year 39 people were killed in an attack on a nightclub.
