Syria's government troops have captured two major rebel strongholds within Eastern Ghouta, taking their total territory to around 80 percent. Fresh government air raids kill at least 30 in Damascus suburb, monitor says, an "exodus" from enclave continues. Turkish forces have begun their advance inside the northern Syrian town of Afrin, following weeks of fighting which has displaced tens of thousands of people.
